It all started when

in 2012 we started to look for a place in the country to move from the ever busier San Francisco to live a bit simpler life.  What we found was 36 beautiful acres of empty land, rolling hills and old oak trees but no road, house, water or electricity.  I am a photographer who knew nothing about building and land development but I fell in love with the land. Against many people's warnings, I decided to buy the property and build our dream place.  Minhsing, my partner, who is an architect took the project on and 2 years later we had a barn, cottage, olive tree orchards and fruit and vegetable garden. 4 years later we pressed our first batch of our 100% organic olive oil which got glowing compliments from anyone who tasted it. 

Today we continue to plant more olive trees, we are around 300 now, growing our flock of sheep and learning to manage the land to keep it pristine for the future while working in our professions.
