Ranch. Event Space. Photo Location.

In 2012 we yearned to move from busy San Francisco to a simpler country life. We found 36 beautiful acres of empty land, rolling hills and old oak trees. No roads. No house. No water or electricity.

I am a photographer, a novice at building and land development. I fell in love with the land, we  decided to buy the property—against all sane advice—and built our dream place. My partner, who is an architect, took on the project.

We now have a spacious barn, a livable cottage, a guest house, olive orchards, a herd of goats and sheep, and fruit and vegetable gardens.

Four years after we broke ground, we pressed our first batch of our 100% organic olive oil.

Today we continue to plant olive trees, more than 300 at last count.  Our flock of sheep and goats keeps growing, and we are learning to manage the land to keep it pristine for the future generations.
